Motor Insurance Claims

Our aim is to help you as quickly and efficiently as possible as accidents can be very traumatic for all concerned. Here’s what you should do:

  • Call the police or emergency services if necessary
  • Obtain the name and address of everyone involved in the accident including Vehicle Registration Numbers
  • Obtain the name and address of any independent witnesses
  • Take photographs of vehicle damage
  • Contact your broker or ourselves as soon as possible. The number for Europa General is 02890 320190

Reporting an Accident

To notify us of the accident you should:

  • Telephone our Claims Department Direct on 028 90 320190 or by contacting your broker
  • When you call please provide your policy number, details of what happened including the date and time of the incident
  • You may download a Claim Form from this site

Approved Repairers/Accident Repairs

Europa General works in partnership with a number of repairers in NI. When you notify us of your claim and you have the required cover, we will notify one of our recommended Approved Repairers. Benefits include:

  • Free collection and delivery of your vehicle*
  • Speedy repairs
  • Guarantee on repairs

* For vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight

Recovery of Your Vehicle Following an Accident

If your vehicle cannot be driven following an accident and your cover is Comprehensive, we can:

  • Arrange for your vehicle to be taken to the nearest Approved Repairer
  • The cost will be met by us

Windscreen or Vehicle Glass Damage

Europa General works in partnership with Autoglass, Auto Windscreens and National Windscreens to provide 24 hour glass repair or replacement. Policyholders should contact Europa General to confirm policy excess. The repairer will invoice the balance of the cost direct to Europa General.

Policyholders should produce the Certificate of Insurance.

Theft of Your Vehicle

Report the theft to the police. You will be given a crime reference number which we will need to process your claim.
